East Side Family Session with Anna, Dan, & Jackson

This little bridge near the bike path is one of my favorite little hidden gems of the east side. There are often little ducks and boats, the architecture is pretty, you can sometimes hear people playing music, and it’s so close to the bike path and Willy St. It’s such a snapshot of this side of town. I got to spend a morning here with Anna, Dan and sweet baby Jackson! Celebrating his 6 month milestone!

He’s grown so much since I got to see him at his newborn session. Those cheeks are just amazing! And that sweet baby laugh is the best. I love that his parent’s called it the pterodactyl laugh. He looked so dapper in his little button down, coral pants and bowtie, and his parents looked equally as fantastic.

I just need to take a moment to point out details. I mean seriously. Anna, Dan. You guys. They just blew me away with the little details they brought. Anna picked some gorgeous flowers from their front yard before heading out, because this was just before the rain and nothing was blooming yet! Her shoes were stunning.

And Dan and Jackson wore the best bowties. Dan’s was hand carved out of wood, that he made with Ronni (who awesomely came to both of our sessions to lend a hand). I have to be a geek and admit I went home and started watching tutorials on this, because how incredible guys.

Our session helper and one of Jackson’s best buds, Ronni.

Finally, we walked down to Willy Street to include some of the beautiful brick and murals that make this part of town so fantastic. This part of the street has such a great array of local businesses and such a unique feel that it was a perfect way to end our morning.

I can’t wait to see how much this little sweetpea has grown the next time I get to see him! He already has such an awesome personality! Thanks for letting me be a part of these growing memories, you three!
