The longer days have me longing for the warmth of summer. And this beautiful summer session we did for Harvey’s 9 month session was a dream! I just adore when clients have the best secret spots (this beach with soft sand and perfect waves was a favorite for this family).

Samantha has hands down, the best style! She coordinates her family’s outfits so perfectly from the soft vintage lace and headband, to Harvey’s 1940’s inspired swimming suit-style outfit. Not the mention the perfect little wooden boat! I have a love of vintage style, so the styling of this shoot was just a dream.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We met early in the morning and played in the sand. Isla has the spunkiest, sweetest personality. I just adore her 3 year-old self. We sang some Moana, splashed in the water and enjoyed being barefoot on the sand.

Harvey has the best laugh, of course when mama sings and plays peek-a-boo right off camera, that great smile got even bigger. When the water rolled in and tickled his toes, he laughed and laughed.

We were able to get tons of great photos of these adorable kiddos and at the end, we were able to grab a few mom and dad shots as well! I love, love getting couple shots. For so many couples, they haven’t had professional photos of just the two grownups since their wedding or maternity photos, so it’s so fun to feed the littles a snack and grab 5 minutes of grownup photos before calling it a day.

 

I just have too many favorites from this gorgeous day!
