Happy birthday to this cute boy! I can’t believe he’s a year already! It’s been such a joy to watch this little babe grow from his newborn session, to his 6 month photos, to now. There’s just something magical about how much babies grow and change in their first year.

Those eyes! And that sweet little smile! It just melts you, doesn’t it?

I think one of my favorite things, is grabbing those sweet, in-between moments that families share. When you just see the way parents look at each other or the way a kiddo looks adoringly at his parents.

We had such a fun, relaxed session (with only one warm-up break!) with lots of loved ones to cheer on the cake eating! I just adore spending time with Anna and Dan and their sweet friends.

This tuxedo cake from Bloom Bakery looked absolutely delicious! With chocolate ganache on the inside, vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles. I’m not going to lie, the grown-ups definitely shared some at the end, it was too yummy not to!
